Grilled Whitefish

About the Recipe

When you’re in a rush or just don’t feel like doing much for dinner, grilled fish is a perfect choice..

Ingredients

  • 4 - 6 Fresh Whitefish Filets (or thawed, if frozen)

  • 4 teaspoons Olive Oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika

  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning

  • 1/2 Lemon

  • Chopped Parsley


Preparation

Step 1


Preheat the grill, or grill pan. If using an outdoor grill, oil the cooking surface or use a grill mat to prevent the fish from sticking. If using a grill pan, oil the pan.


Step 2


Brush one side of the filet with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, paprika and Old Bay Seasoning (or seasoning of choice).


Step 3


Place the filet seasoned side down on the grill. Brush the second side with oil. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, paprika and Old Bay Seasoning (or seasoning of choice.


Step 4


Cook the fillets for two minutes, then using a wide spatula, turn the filets over and cook another two minutes.


Step 5


Transfer the cooked fillets to a plate and sprinkle with chopped parsley (optional) and lemon juice.
